Tsavo West National Park is a popular tourism safari destination with its rich and varied wildlife, good road system for doing game drives, popular visit to crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs, rock climbing activities, visit to rhino sanctuary and shetani Lava. The park covers an area of 9,065 square kilometers just adjacent to neighboring Tsavo East National park which is divided by Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. Tsavo West National Park has a variety of wildlife, such as eastern black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard and lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bushbaby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Masai giraffe.
