Full Day Coffee Farm Tour

Pickup from hotel/airport and drive for 45 minutes to a coffee estate within the outskirts of Nairobi.

Arrive at the coffee farm where you will be given a brief history about coffee in Kenya. Later you will have a guided walk through the coffee farm on how it is grown, cared for and how it is harvested. You will also get to know the different sustainable farming practices.

Later on visit the coffee factory where you will be able to observe the coffee bean pulping, fermentation, washing and drying. Also get a chance to learn the coffee export process and the Kenya’s coffee grading system.

Later participate in a coffee beans roasting & tasting session where you will be able to taste different varieties of coffee and also be taught how you can identify them through texture,
aroma and flavour. Also visit the farm shop where you will get a chance to shop for the different coffee flavours in the farm. There is hot lunch served after the tour.

Drive back to the city and drop-off at airport/hotel.
